You are obviously an idiot. Tommy Cooper played the idiot for laughs, but was extremely talented.

So, tell me, as an idiot yourself, do you make people laugh, are you successful, and do have any sort of talent?

Many years ago I played in a resident band in a club where many famous stars appeared and I met them all. Tommy Cooper did a couple of weeks there and along with Bob Monkhouse was the funniest act I ever saw. Before going on stage he would stand in the wings adjusting a large supporting belt he had to combat the terrible back pain he suffered from. You wouldn't know to see him prancing about just how much he suffered. He was a great magician too and a member of the Magic Circle which you cannot join without being a top magician. Don't knock the guy now that he's dead and can't answer back. His type of entertainment was from a different (and better) generation. He gave millions of people a great deal of pleasure, me being one of them. Perhaps your sense of humour is too narrow to appreciate real entertainment. Oh and by the way, Tommy was NEVER smutty, just pure good clean fun.

Laughter is the greatest gift we have. It's free, you can do it almost anywhere, it's good for you, there's no better way of getting a girl than by making her laugh and it can resolve all manner of problems. Tommy Cooper could have the whole audience in uncontrollable laughter just by walking onto the stage. I think that you are proving to the whole world that today's expectations from entertainment are much less than they were.

This man was, actually, a "GIANT" of a man, in MORE ways, than YOU, - clearly, - are capable of comprehending!

Standing at a HEIGHT of SIX FEET SEVEN INCHES, - and weighing around TWENTY STONES, - this HUGE man, had ONE thing, that many "COMEDIANS", today, should be GRATEFUL for. He had a SENSE OF HUMOUR, that was SECOND to NONE, - and, his GENEROSITY of SPIRIT, was LEGENDARY, amongst his FELLOW PERFORMERS!

And, finally, let us NOT forget, that there is ONE thing, which YOU have FORGOTTEN, - or, maybe, you never KNEW, - about him!

He did NOT, in actuality, "SET OUT" with any intention of having a career, as a COMEDIAN, - at ALL! He, was, actually, a VERY accomplished "PRESTIDIGITATOR", - that's a "CONJURER", or "MAGICIAN", for those who were struggling
