Certainly. That's no problem at all. Tetras do need to be in a school, but guppies can be kept as singles or in a group, they do not need to be in pairs.

Sure. Just make sure you have enough space, tetras prefer schools of 6 or more, and guppies need to be in pairs.

Yes however be sure not to put bloodfin tetras or black tetras in there. these tetras are to aggressive, they might eat the little guppies.

yea, I have three tetras and a guppy, and when i first started my tank the only thing i had in it was tetras and guppies

yes as long as you dont put in black or white skirt tetras because they are fin nippers
