No, I don't. I write a thank you comment at the comment box. Always. :)

Edit:

I prefer to write at the comment box because the thank you note stays there, with the answer, and everybody can see it. I think it's nicer. But messages are nice, too. In fact, any kind of thank you is wonderful!! :)

Yes I always thank the asker for picking me as the best answer either by emailing them or leaving a thank you note as a comment so that they can see it later if they don't allow email that is.

If I get best answer, I leave a thank you and usually a comment right there where it says comment. I wonder how many people that ask questions & name a best answer, ever go back to check for comments & read them.
I email my contacts now & then and especially those whose personal emails I have. I am also very receptive to emails from my contacts and potential contacts.~~~~Jill

This I learned a long time ago, from my lovely friend, Moon:

I always leave a thank you comment right under the Q :-))

Why would anyone mind a friendly email thanking them for best answer? I think that's very sweet.

I don't but I've starting sending e-mails to a few people on here. I've wished a few people Happy Birthday, asked where they have been, etc. If they didn't want you to e-mail them then they would block you or not allow e-mails. I think that it's very nice that you say thanks. Do you mind if I take your idea and copy it? I think it's kind of nice.

Sometimes. Actually, this is very thoughtful. I think I'll do this from now on. Even if the asker doesn't mind, this is very nice.

it is not Yahoo that chooses the 'terrific answer' it rather is desperate by the individuals who choose for to vote on the solutions. The solutions are purely as good because of the fact the individuals that provide them. usually, that's the 'empty vessels that make the main noise.' people who rather understand something will probable no longer be here interior the 1st place! they do no longer could return here to ask questions and that they probable does no longer think of to return here just to grant solutions. that's greater often than not human beings like me that would understand slightly and rather do no longer understand plenty that have a tendency to play here. So please do no longer place self belief in solutions you get here, they may well be completely bogus! As for powdered protein you sum it up properly ' Arrrh'. I rather have studied nutrients and in my humble opinion protein from such factors as meat, and dairy are very over rated. Ounce for ounce there is greater protein in nuts and pulses than meat or dairy! Soya protein is nice , yet why take it as powder? It makes fantastically good veggie sausages, burgers or maybe bogus Beaverbrook, so why no longer delight in it like that? no longer which you somewhat want it in any respect; protein is in each vegetable besides. severe protein factors (traditionally meat and dairy) like soya products are useful for babies nevertheless growing to be. that's important that toddlers get milk, yet mom's is terrific! look at nature; do you spot any creature taking the milk of different species any the place? No, it is not organic! purely people do it, as purely people do plenty it rather is against nature!

I use to post the thank you in the comment section, but I don;t think they ever go back to see if comments were made, so I always send an email if they have one available-it's the right thing to do!..lol

I usually add a comment on the question, but I've received emails thanking me for giving best answers, and it feels quite nice.
