She still can. However, she will have to contact Planned Parenthood or a woman's clinic and set up an appointment. Some abortion clinics can do abortions up to 16 weeks, some only up to 14. After that, it has to be done in a hospital because of increasing risk of complications. If they don't do it at the clinic, the doctor will refer her to a practioner and she will have it at a hospital. This is not unusual actually. Many women don't get the results of their prenatal testing until around this time and even later and choose to abort when the results are poor. Most states regulate abortion after 24-26 weeks, however.

I am all about pro choice as long as the abortion is taken place BEFORE the 12th week of pregnancy. I believe 15 weeks is too late. Her baby is about 4 inches long, can move, suck its thumb, pee and even cry in the womb. If she wanted an abortion, she should have thought about this long before the baby could feel pain (which is 12 weeks)... I cant even imagine being a baby and feeling your life sucked right out of you! That is horrible!!!
And for the person who said if you're a Democrat abortion is fine at any time... EXCUSE ME... im a Democrat and I don't believe its right after the 12th week! Keep your political views to yourself!!!!

It depends on which state you live in. She will have trouble finding a provider willing to perform one at this stage. If she still wishes to have an abortion, she needs to locate a willing provider immediately and not put this off any longer. Also, at this stage, the procedure will be quite expensive and she really does not have the time to wait to gather money.
Best of luck to her.
Peace,
Jenn
PS. She can look for a provider in the US here: http://www.gynpages.com/ .

In the state of California it is up to 20 weeks.
For: To bleesed to be stressed, You remind me of those people who stand out in front Planned Parent hood putting posters on peoples windows as they drive by. I am not trying to be rude but if you cannot conceive then I am sorry but just because some one decides to abort it is none of your business.

YA KNOW THEY ACTUALLY DO THEM ALL THE WAY UP TO 26 WEEKS IN SOME STATES. I MYSELF COULDNT DO IT THAT FAR ALONG HOWEVER I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.I HAVE HAD ONE BEFORE AND MAKE SURE IT IS WHAT YOU REALLY WANT BECAUSE TO THIS DAY I REGRET IT AND WONDER IF IT WAS A BOY OR GIRL AND IF IT FELT THE PAIN. IT IS A VERY TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE AND PAINFUL MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.ALSO THERE ARE MANY WOMEN THAT CANNOT HAVE CHILDREN THERES ALTERNATIVES TO ABORTION.
