I mean, come on! They fuss over best answers, right? But what about best questions?
Any weirdo can post up a question like this: How you doing?
And any weirdo can answer like this: Good.
And they can still get 10 points for that!
Starred questions should get points, because (assuming the person who starred the question is a rational human being) the question is probably a question worth answering.
P.S. This isn't supposed to be a rant. It's supposed to be funny. I kinda messed up on the funny part, but hey. I'm not gonna go back and retype.
Here's your funny: HHAHAHAAAH... Man, I'm making a joke outta myself.

I can reason with the deducting points because basically, the points are like money. You want to buy a question, you gotta pay.
Here's an example:
Question is a motocross bike.
The deduction of the 5 pts is the money you pay for the bike.
BUT!!!!
If you do well on the bike and enter into races and place first, the bike's company (in which you bought it from) is very likely to sponser you, right? That's where the Starred Questions come in.

But, kr_toronto, it's just as well that friends can post a question and can automatically choose Best Answer for their friends, even though it might not be. How is it any different?
