i took an online test and was wondering if that was good?

The score is good, but the test itself is suspect.
IQ tests are adjusted so that the average score for a person in that group is 100. That means that half score over 100, half score under 100. 129 means you scored well above most of the people in your group.
But the online test is not very accurate. It can give you an indication of what your score is, but it may vary by 20 points either way. For a really good, accurate IQ score, you need to take a test given by a trained tester in a controlled situation. That would most likely be given by a psychologist or counselor.

Age doesn't matter in IQ scores because your age is part of how the score is figured. 129 is a fine score, higher than almost 96% of people, but online tests are always a little suspect.

Your score is already adjusted for your age.
Supposedly, a 100 is average. I strongly suspect, however, that for most tests the scores are skewed a bit higher, because I almost never see scores below 100.
With a score of 129, you're pretty bright. Higher than average. Probably not a genius, though.

Yes, it's really good and above average. However, I say most online IQ are inaccurate because they tend to soften the difficulty and some of the stuff you already know anyway. If you really want to test yourself, go buy one that's official IQ test that sells at many bookstores such as Borders. Trust me, they are HARD. . . I got 124 and I was happy (age doesn't really matter, I'm 16 ^_^;;)

Intelligence quotient is not a good test for anyone because it is so ambiguous. Try taking a Mensa test and see where you stand there. If you are good on a Mensa test it doesn't really matter what your I.Q. is, because IQ doesn't measure all of your knowledge in all fields like Mensa does. Try it and let me know how you do, okay?

Actually, if you are a teen, age doesn't really matter for IQ. So, I would say you are really good.

i think the best u can get is 180 so yeah thats pretty good
