I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan. Imagine that child at 14 years- "Cave-boy, can you please recite the pledge of allegiance for us?"; than imagine him at 30, 40, 90. This name will also hurt him in getting a job. I mean, if you were looking a resume and the name was "Cave-boy Johnson" you are going to assume things about this boy that you wouldn't assume about a Chris, Noah, Adam...etc. But ultimately he's your child- don't let anyone else decide his name for you. Just keep in mind our opinions. Good luck!

Good try with the tongue in cheek humor. It wasn't funny though. If you name your child this then you are no better then the people who named my coworker, Sweet Peach.
How about Johnny Johnson?

**Edit**
Paige, I am all for the pledge of allegiance and believe every child should know it (and every adult for that matter) but the way this world is going I oubt that CaveBoy has much to worry about if he thinks he may or may not be asked to recite the pledge. Sad, isn't it?

I'm sorry, but I have to say no. I would think it'd be a cute name if you were trying to create a new character on the Flinstones or something, but honestly, think of how many kids at his school would tease him. Yes, the "so easy a cave man can do it" commercials might like it, but I think you should find another name so that your son won't be teased or anything. It'd be a cute nickname though lol ^.^

Blah blah blah! Nope! Tarzan would be an improvement over cave-boy, Jane!

This poor child will have to grow up with this ridiculous excuse for a name. He'll probably be beat up three times a week and people will laugh at him to his face and behind his back. Find something normal to name him.

I think that is a very cruel thing to do to a sweet little child. No matter how much you like it, you can't deny that he will get grilled for it through out his life.
