Sorry for the typo.

I'm a Centrist.

CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government

control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on

the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention

and sometimes support individual freedom of choice.

Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind,

tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what

they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

Socialism is an economic system based on the goveernment playing a major part in our economy. You are talking mostly about guns and gays etc which are not economic systems.

P.S. All countries on the planet have at least some socialism including the USA. IE: our army, our government, our subsidies to oil companies, farmers and students etc. Our space program, grants for research, disaster relief, our interstate system, etc etc etc etc etc etc. Social security is semi-socialistic because each individual pays for it, but if you live long enough, the government might pay out more than you put in. (The reason social security is going broke is because all the money we pay in goes into one huge "General Fund" from which our government borrows for things like the Vietnam and Iraq wars which will take decades to pay back if they even care to.)

Nope. Look like a moderate, based just on those issues, of course.

You might be libertarian. Socialist believe that everyones assets are to be controlled by the govt and then dolled out among the people including those who did not bother to show up for work today. go to boortz.com and take the quiz. It might help you figure out what you are.

Based on that description, you're definitely not a socialist, as defined by my poli sci teachers. You're moderate.
