I really want to go to a sauna for the health benefits...but every time I search for one all I get is ads for bathhouses :P

There isn't the same "need" that there is for the whole "bathhouse" scene - single men (regardless of their "orientation") are pretty much SHUNNED from swinger's clubs, whereas single WOMEN are ENCOURAGED to attend...
Thus - gay men have bathhouses, and straight men have strip clubs (and the "extra" services they can get in the parking lot) ;);););)
