Okay so I moved in with my 2 roommates a little over 2 months ago, neither of which I knew. Sadly, one of my roommates is this crazy chick from Texas, no offense. Anyways, she basically used me and my other roommate to get an apartment . Her parents got so sick of her that they pay for her to live in California. Long story short, we got in a fight, she pulled a knife on me, I have gone to the apartment manager a million times with a restraining order, and a police report stating that she broke the restraining order. She says that she will leave when she finds a new place, but every single day there is a fight. I have had to call the cops 3 times. The apartment manager says I need to get her arrested to get her out, but she runs everytime the cops show up. I don't want it to get to where she has to stab me in order to get her the hell out. I start school in a few weeks and she has completly made my life and my other roommates a livving hell. Any advice please help I am desperate

Make sure the police are making reports even if she isn't there when they arrive, then armed with copies of the reports, head back to the district attorney's office or issuing court on the grounds that she has repeatedly violated the terms of the restraining order and refuses to vacate the premises. Further, make sure the D.A. and/or judge are aware that you are afraid for your well being and that this person has a history of making threats and violent behaviour towards you.
You might also contact your campus security and/or student affairs office to let them know what is going on and ask how they can help you.

Next time she leaves the house, call a 24-hour-locksmith or the apartment maintenance man to change your locks. When she comes back and finds herself locked out, she will probably cause a huge disturbance, which will get her arrested and out of your hair. Besides, you have the restraining order proving she isn't supposed to come near you, so the authorities will be on your side. Good luck!

Whose name is on the lease or rental agreement?
If you have restraining order on her that says she needs to stay away...then call cops next time she walks in door...
from cellphone.
Make believe you taking out the trash or something.
Don't do the "OK I am calling the cops..."
Is there outside chance she has warrants out on her in Texas?

It sounds like since you joined them, it might be a good idea for you to find another place to live and just leave the situation. It would be best for your mental and physical health!

You and your roommate should gather some courage and have all of her stuff packed up. When she shows up let the situation be known even if some hair has to be pulled out. If you are too scared of confrontation...Call up one of your craziest homegirls to come through and put it down!
