I would have preferred happiness but of those choices, I'd go will Intelligence. Determination is good but it can be wearing in a 2-year-old wanting to pull the dog's tail; good looks can fade; kindness is taught, not given; and a positive outlook counts for nothing if you're poor and uneducated.

determination cos thats whats got me through all the sh*te i've been thru since i was about 6. so thats one of the best qualities there.
looks are nice, but a bit material.
intelligence is good cos you know your way around the world but depends if you in a position to use it.
kindness is a biggie and very important, but its a dog eat dog world out there so sometimes you have to be hard.
positive outlook - do you mean always seeing the bright side like i do or having a positive life? bith are good.
anyway i'd say i want my son to have all of those in a way, but determination is something you are not something you learn, so its gotta be that one. if you have determination you can overcome the rest.

positive outlook because of course MY child wud have good looks and i am smart so it wud be intelligent and i wud teach my child to be kind so i wudnt have to wish for that. and i think determination is just something that evryone can have if they really want something. i wud teach my child that if u really want to acheive something then u have to have that drive or determination. nothing is gonna get done if they dont try. i dont think it wud be that hard to tell your child that so no point in wasting your wish. u cant really teach someone to have a positive outlook so i wud wish for that.

Of those I would choose intelligence. But what I would really want is for the child to be happy and successful.

Determination. Then, my child would be determined to get the other four things. Ha! My child would get all five!
