Is she showing up places you go? Is she parked down the street watching your every move? Is she calling a lot?
I only ask because when I see the word stalk I think of an obsessive person who won't let you move without "running" into them.
Otherwise, it's probably just time to be brutally honest, which I know you can do :), and tell her to leave you alone.

LycraStretchpant's victories are all in his head, just like his social life. He was stalking ME, and I asked him to stop. But I will admit that trying to argue with a complete lunatic was a mistake, arguing with him is like arguing with a two year old. He's always wrong, but he's not capable of the reason and logic it would require to recognize it. But I'm sure it's the most contact he's ever had with a woman, so at least HE got something from it.
EDIT--Stretchpants-Actually, I emailed you asking you as politely (as possible) to stop stalking my posts and commenting and name-calling; behavior that you've also exhibited toward several other women on this site. In short, I wanted the behavior to stop. YOU, however, far from wanting the exchange to end, wanted to drag out the matter unending, because it is the only direct female interaction you get. You can't "stalk" the willing, you relished our sad little exchange, and were obviously quite disappointed when it ended...thus, your desperate attempts at instigation here. "Winners" don't call for a "rematch", now do they? No ,because they have nothing to prove. YOU, obviously need to prove to yourself that you're "smart enough". And thus far, the "proof" has been lacking. The very fact that you are trying to call me out with these pathetic tactics speaks volumes, You lost before you began, and it chafes your hide as much as your unfortunate choice in workout wear, so you are trying yet again. Give it up, you lost. And not only do your desperate attempts at getting attention suggest how upset you are at losing, it also suggests that you have no life...this, apparently, is it. Your infantile whining, childish name callings, and attempts to "pick on" women such as Rio, Dierdre, Fraxinus and myself amounts to nothing more than the attempts of a little boy trying to get all the little girls' attention by pulling their pigtails. The only difference is that when little boys do it, it's cute. When grown men do it, it's pathetic and psychotic. I won't lower myself by indulging your pathological need for attention anymore. This is best left to the psychiatrists, and massive doses of medication. Good luck with all that, loser.

Women who stalk men have self-esteem issues that they need to work on. Usually if you are clingy, you are boring because all other things in the world don't matter to someone who lacks self-respect. She will cling to someone else if another person catches her eye. Introduce her to one of your stud buddies that you really don't care for. Maybe she will jump the track?

As negative as my thoughts on men who stalk women. These people need serious professional help.

Apparently she thinks that you two were "meant to be." I suggest that as soon as you start dating another woman, make it a point to shout to the heavens how much you care about her so maybe this chick will get the point. I think it's flattering but ultimately sad. I feel bad for both of you. She'll move on eventually I think.

a stalker is a stalker no matter the sex. If she leaves mesages on answer machine, keep it to show police if it comes to that. She may become desperate and want to do you harm, so be careful.

i'm one of them! but don't get the wrong idea; none of the guys i've stalked ever knew i was doing it. now that i look at it, i'm more of the fan-girly type. admire from afar...
and yes, i would lose respect for someone like that too. but i'm not like that.

Have you tried introducing her to your new girlfriend?
Some people just want to be involved with someone, ANYONE, just to say they’re involved with someone.
EDIT: Are we talking bunny-burner, or just calls you and emails you all the time?
