I was flipping between the Red Sox and Angels game, and the Giants-Nationals game, because I wanted Barry Bonds to hit this stupid homerun and get it over with. Sure enough, when I checked back, he was circling the bases, and I was ready to call my dad and wake him up and tell him (I live on the East Coast, so it was almost midnight when he hit it). I watched the whole on field ceremony (since the Angels were beating up on the Sox), then went to sleep, disgusted at the Red Sox, and having mixed feelings about Barry Bonds.

Out driving my son in hopes of getting him to sleep (didn't work, but helped the cause). Got home, turned on the idiot box, and quickly realized I had just missed it, because the next batter stepped in about a minute later.
Didn't bother me not to have seen it live. I saw Hank's, and I know replay technology is much better now, not to mention the wealth of camera angles.
And the boy (top ten draft pick, 2023, you betcha!) went down soon after, so all was well.

Who cares? all and sundry observed it coming. And it is not comparable to he's going to get praised for it. there is too plenty controversy surrounding him that it probable won't land him a gap interior the hall of recognition. it may be stressful for Rodriguez to interrupt that record, he'd could crank out an customary of 25 HR a three hundred and sixty 5 days for 10 years. and that i doubt he will choose for yet another 10 years with all the money he has now.

It was around 1:30 a.m. and I was watching it on T.V. I was bidding on listing on Ebay at the same time and flipping channels to watch Next Friday.
