You should not have a pelvic exam if you are menstruating.

You should reschedule, unless your period is lasting a long time and they asked you to come in.

The blood from the menstrual cycle can skew the results and give you a false-positive for cervical anomalies.

NO THEY WILL NOT..IT IS BEST TO WAIT LIKE 3 DAYS AFTER THE CYCLE...AND MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE SEX WITHIN 24 HRS OF THE EXAM, IT CAN ALTER RESULTS.

I doubt it, that would be really messy and it probably wouldn't give very accurate results
