Eyes, and ears. I would rather see, and hear while I am walking on artificial legs, and using my artificial arms.

Birthday parties, holiday events, celebrations, weddings going on trips. How sad, and horrible it would be if we could not see all the people, and hear all the beautiful music, join in the conversations, see what we look like when we get dressed. Put on our makeup. See our new born baby. Our child's weddings. What about all the scenery when we go on trips. See a movie, the beautiful first snow of the winter, watch T.V. It would be like we were dead. We would not be able to participate in anything. We could also keep a job, and continue in our career as long as it does not include any athletics.

If we don't see, or hear we have not seen or heard any of the above to be able to participate in life in any meaningful way.

Not only that, but participating would definitely help ease the pain of knowing we do have artificial arms, and legs.

It depends on how you want to live life. Some people can be blind or death, but then its like they are blessed by some power that makes them "transcend" from their handicaps. Im thinking of a blind blacksmith or sifu or a monk or a baker. If they want to feel useful, and if being blind and death doesnt hurt their will to live, then arms and legs are more important to them.

But then eyes and ears are more important to philosophers and thinkers. They want to see the world around them and experience it with their eyes and ears. They use their minds to make having no arms and legs seem like nothing. Stephen Hawken cant use his arms and legs, but since hes not blind he can work math, and since hes not death, he can communicate to fellow mathmathicians and physicists.

To me i think all parts of my bodies are important. The full life experience is better than just an imax theatre or a hike in the mountains.

(i dont know how to spell the word for not being able to hear)

I think eyes and ears are more important. Having no use of your eyes and ears deprives you of two of your senses, sight and sound, whereas having no arms and legs leaves all five of your senses intact at least, even if you can't walk or hold stuff.

If you remove eyes and ears then you lose two senses, but if you lose your arms and legs you lose one sense. I suppose losing the ability to walk, touch, and feel might be worse than seeing and hearing. Not seeing and hearing can be overcome. Not being able to walk and feel would be worse. Legs and arms are more important.

I would say arms and eyes... or, do you mean it the other way? then I would say eyes and ears. You can still learn and contribute to the world without the limbs.

We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
I would only say my eyes and ears to hear they holy names and my eyes to the see the form of The Lord.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above.

it depends whether you enjoy and harness your physical attributes or your sences. whichever means more to you, you should keep. personally, i'd drop the legs and arms, because i would be a bed-ridden stump but i wouldnt we hellen keller. and isn't that whats really important, not being hellen keller?
