For a moment I thought you were talking about my in laws!
Personally I think it's great if my friends are comfortable enough to hit my fridge/snacks/drinks. But my friends aren't leeches so it's not an endless raiding of my pantry.

Yeah sometimes my firends do that. They will just start eating. I don't mind that much though because I don't like a lot of the food my mom buys.

That's when assertiveness training comes in handy. You are nobody's doormat and if your so called friends have the nerve to just come into your home and take advantage of you they are not true friends.

I would never do that either...but my in-laws have a habit of doing that, to each other but not in my home. I politely and sternly make it known that it's not acceptable in MY HOME!

You need new friend or better yet Make some rules and if that doesn't work Change the locks.

i think its a good thing for someone to feel that comfortable with me and my house to make themselves at home. i mean i don't have anyone but my sister-in-law lol that will come and eat me out of house and home. but shes ok her mom only buys healthy stuff and we have junk food we just don't eat it alot but I'm getting off of the point. its a good thing for someone to feel that comfortable in your house, at least that's what i think. as long as you still have food and drink when they leave lol. and if someone is doing that and it bugs you just mention to them by telling them you don't wan them to eat you out of house and home.

yeah i hate that. why don't you try putting mouse traps about the house for the company to see. tell them you have a small plague. they will leave in a second. i never claimed to be a miss manners now.

nahh my friends are respectful of me for some reason.. this one time these girls came over and chased my cat outside .. it never came back. haha poor kitty i hope shez okay
