Water should not be mixing with the oil.

Means one of three things.
1. Broken Head Gasket
2. Cracked Head
3. Cracked Engine Block.

All 3 are pretty major repairs. The head gasket being the cheapest is still several hundred dollars.

How much oil? when was the last time it was changed? If there is alot of water in your oil you, could have a bad intake gasket, blown head gasket, cracked head, cracked block, ect. Are you saying there is water in it becuase there's a water oil mixture on the fill cap or the dip stick. I have seen many cars that are driven only on short drives and don't get the oil changed ofeten due to how long it takes to get 3000 miles on it have serious issues with condisation build up in the crank case. Let the car sit for several hours or over night then remove the oil drain plug if you get lots of water before you get any oil. you need to have a pressure test done to see where it's coming from

it is possible to have condensation built up in the crankcase if you only make short trips and don't get the engine up to operationg temp for a while. But, more than likely you have an internal cooling system leak allowing the water to get into the oil. Typical failures are intake manifold gaskets, head gaskets, cracked heads, and cracked blocks.

Most likely a cracked engine block or broken head gasket. Either way very costly. Bring it to a garage and let them check exactly where the cracks are.
Generally motor will heat up easier and the use of water will increase. My advice, don't drive long distances and get it fixed as soon as possible.
God bless you.

does the oil look gray and bubbly .... if you answer ''yes'' to that then you have a bad head gasket and if you continue to drive the car in this condition you will have to replace the whole motor ... park the car until you can fix it .... the water will continue to get sucked out of the ''cooling system'' and into the oil and cylinders and you will loose the motor to a cracked engine block ....

It means it's time to replace the head gasket, a cracked cylinder head, or the entire car.

You can drive the car for a short distance at low speed directly to a place where the head work (gasket, head grinding, etc) can be performed.
