Actually, I didn't think you were done. And if even if the Yankees were 20 games out, I still wouldn't count them out. My pulse is starting to beat a little faster since the lead (which was once 14 games) is down to 5.
I'm in panic mode!

I was waiting for this type of typical arrogant Yankee question. Thanks for proving my point about New Yorkers. It is just this kind of arrogance that drives me insane. I came on here expecting to see a question/comment just like this. Sure enough, here it is. As a Red Sox fan, I don't have a problem with the team, it is just the never ending unattractive personalities of the people of New York that I can't stand. Do I like some of the comments that Bostonians make as well? NO. But what I constantly see and hear from you people is overwhelming. What you gotta realize is "Yankee Haters" are not so much hating on the Yankees, it is the typical New York type of hostile, rude, obnoxious fans who create "Yankee Haters".
I never thought the Yankees were dead. The ones who did are naive and down right foolish. Where the Yankees are now in terms of how their playing and getting closer to the Red Sox is something I was waiting for, simply because it was inevitable.
I'm starting to shy away from the baseball section because I'm so tired of these types of comments and would enjoy the baseball season so much more if the fans would just calm down and stop getting so personal. After all, it's a game, and there are so many more important things in life to worry about. Just chill the hell out.

Ah yes beating up on the Royals and D-Rays is a hard thing to do. It's always a challenge. You know, those Orioles are good too. They have a great bullpen. Don't forget about the Blue Jays. Those Canadians sure can play some ball. Wait.. wow before this series the last time you played a team over .500 was July 8th! Congrats on beating up on all the bad teams in the AL. Ok seriously now, if you can get through this upcoming hard stretch(Cleveland,Boston,Detroit,Seattle,LAA 6 out of the next 8 series)still in contention then I'll believe the Yankees are for real.

I'm not a Yankee hater, but I have to say that you look equally like a fool for making a post like that. It would be nice to see someone take the high road for once.

Well. I can sort of relate. I am not a Yankees fan, I love the Sox (White not Red). But people were always smack talking the Sox too. Then they went to the World Series and kicked *** all the way.
Yeah, fools.

I follow baseball pretty closely and haven't seen your name on the Yankees roster. So what is this "we" stuff? Your input is what? Oh wait, you're in the Bragging Too Early Department, aren't you?
That said, they'll probably make the playoffs barring any major injury setback.

We're feeling good. We know they have played some really crappy teams. We cant wait until they play some Major League Teams (i.e., Boston, Cleveland, Anahiem, Detroit) and then we will be right back at YOU!

i think that yankee haters actually hate their fans more than the team itself. anyone that comes to my stadium and yells 'hip-hip-jorge' deserves a swift drop kick to the face.
