We razorback fans (for the most part) are not very happy with houston nutt and i've heard that if he dose crappy this year he will be let go by whoever sceeds frank broyles. OR if he wins ten games he'll walk because it would increase his stock to go elsewhere (dont know if i buy the one where he walks) so any way if we get rid of him where will he go, and who will the razorbacks get? ive heard talk of butch davis or steve spurrier.

I am a HUGE razorback fan, and I don't know what is going to happen. I think if Nutt has a mediocre year he may be gone, and if he has a great year and leaves, then good bye to him. I don't think we would get either Davis or Spurrier. Both would be very expensive and the admin. at the U of A is Cheap and not willing to pay the kind of money it would take to get one of these, and most people I know do not like Spurrier. Honestly, I do not see Nutt going anywhere in the near future. His 2008 recruiting class is exceptional right now and the future looks really good for the HOGS. I think we are looking squarely at another 3-5 years of Nutt being the coach. Sorry to ruin your day. Still love those Hogs though.

I like Nutt myself.. of course my Freshman year at the UofA was '98.. the year of the Stoerner Stumble Fumble.. that's a good year to be a HDN fan. And I think a lot of people like HDN.. to be honest with you.. there is a moderate chance that if HDN has a great season that he will step up to the AD position that Broyles is vacating.
I don't see Spurrier leaving South Carolina (unless they continue to piss him off with this enrollment stuff)
and I really don't have a clue who might take his spot if he leaves.

Why fire a good coach in Houston Nutt, it's not his fall of all the thing happen to the football program. Plus how can you justified in firing a 10 wins coach last year and this year he got alot of talent back for another 10 wins season. Mitch Mustain transferred is not his fault, mustain just feel a better fit for him is in the wide-open passing attack school like USC. Happen to beat the Hog like a real Pig on a platters. But you can't fire him, not yet anyway.

LSU will get Spurrier. Les Miles will replace Lloyd Carr at Michigan. Nutt will follow Mitch Mustain and become the new coach of USC after Pete Carroll is imprisoned for paying players and running a male prostitution ring.
