Do conservatives understand the concept that failure is the result of repeating the same mistake, over and over, and expecting a different result? How many lives have to be lost before Bush understands that Iraq is never going to be a Democracy....they have no conception of a free society!

Give me one example of one liberal that has actually said they want us to fail in Iraq. Just one. Is that to much to ask? I am getting pretty sick of repubs accusing anybody who was and is against the war as wanting to lose and not supporting the troops. If you are in such favor of the war then why haven't you joined the military yet? Still waiting on that example and it doesn't even have to come from you. I challenge anybody to give me a link to a video or a quote showing a liberal stating that they want us to lose in Iraq. And don't send me crap of a liberal saying bring the troops home because that doesn't mean they want us to lose.

That IS the impression they're giving.
Regardless of whether they want the US to fail or not, the fact remains that their political ascendency requires a failure. They put themselves into that position, and have nobody but themselves to blame.

ABSOLUTELY...POSITIVELY...this has never been about a pratical solution..its all about grandstanding and posturing. when the safety of our soldiers was compromised by 36000 carded requests for unrelated pork on the defense bill orchestrated without debate by pelosi, that was a definite clue.

I don't think that they actually WANT us to fail but I think they do EXPLOIT the fact that we aren't doing so well to push their agenda.
