A friend of mine and I use to be close, but last year I had to quit school for a semester and wasn't able to tell her ahead of time, now everytime I talk to her she seems distant and cold, for a while it felt like we were getting close again but then nothing.

Well it's nice to hear from you finally my friend and I am sorry about your friend. You say you became close for alittle bit, then she became cold again. Maybe she is going through some drama in her own life and can't or does not want to mention it to you out of embarrassment or something else. Give it another couple of days, then txt her to call you. If she does not, call her on the phone and ask her what the matter is. Good luck!

maybe she feels that because you didn't tell her you weren't as close as you thought...you should try to explain things to her and see what happens...she sounds hurt by what happened and with the right moves she may forgive you but you are going to have to work hard...women don't forgive easily and we definitely don't forget...make it up to her...big time!

Maybe she feels you forgot about her or she is annoyed at you that you were gone and now you dont know like anything she is probaly confussed just give it time!
