No, I think not. It should read:
We should live our lives the moral way: the way that doesn't bring us pain!
'that' instead of 'which'

Actually the colon : is used to introduce a quotation, explanation, example, OR a series... not necessarily 3
the semicolon ; is used to connect independent clauses indicating a closer relationship than a period.
so the sentence is correct because "the way which doesn't bring us pain!" is both an explanation and a dependent clause.
These punctuation marks are often misused. I hope this clarifies. Nine out of ten times you use the colon :

it should say - "We should live our lives in the moral way ; the way that does not bring us pain!"
note the slight grammatical alterations and the use of ; instead of :
: is used to introduce a list.
; is used to divide a sentence into two shorter, seperate sentences.

No you only put the two dots that are vertical if you're going to list 3 or more things after it. You have to do the ; dot and coma thingy. I'm not quite sure what the names are, but I know what they look like. Good try though! :)

The wording is fine. The punctuation is not. You need a semi-colon (;) or a dash (-), not the colon (:), to separate the two phrases.
Best wishes.
