Uh...ROCK haha by far.
Ok I mean I guess rapping takes a little bit of talent. I know I can't write crazy rhymes and rap at rediculous speeds to certain beats. So I mean if you can and you can well, then more power to you.
However, rock consists of the actual PLAYING of instruments and kick a** vocals. You can't compare the two really :)

Because this is the Rap section of course most people will say Rap. My answer will be the same as everyone else, it's gotta be Rap in my opinion. Rap takes much more talent, it doesn't include the voices of people yelling with electric guitars in their backgrounds, and it has flow and good beats. Most Rap has people beat boxing. Rap has more talent but there will never be a perfect music genre.

To me its the same between both. RAP=Rhythm as Poetry, at least real rap anyway, and writing poetry especially to a beat is difficult and takes a lot of talent. By the way, their are some who rappers use live instrument during to make music and perform at live shows like the roots for example

Rock due to the fact you have to learn how to play instruments if you want to be well respected. Also requires heavy drinking and possible heroin use once fame is attained.
Rap all you need is a bunch of metaphors and you're set along with saying the "n" word a bunch of times. Also can't forget to hold a misogynistic view.
