Neither evolution or creation according to the bible are correct.

If evolution were correct then animals would still be evolving into people, and the only neanderthals I've seen lately are the fictional geico insurance commercial cavemen.
So much for evolution.

The creation story is even more lacking in common sense detail; according to biblical account adam and eve were all alone innocently hanging out in a garden and eve shared some fruit with adam that a talking serpent had given her, so from two people (ie. one lone womb) the earth became entirely populated.

Creation is as nonsensical as evolution.

From 666 The Mark of America Seat of the Beast:

There are no mysteries to those who know the truth and reality. Mysteries, theories, speculations, vain imaginations, perceptions, opinions and beliefs are invented by those who do not know how, why, and when life came into existence.

Religion is worse than science in its speculative efforts to satisfy the human ego. There is no precept of religion or science that comprehends or properly explains Reality--which is things as they were, as they are, and as they are to come.

Science is a type of religion, just as religion is a type of science, wherein the mystery of life remains a mystery to those who don't understand it, but pretend to. p232-233

AYNEK,

No, evolutionists do not necessarily reject God. But an awful lot of Christians seem to think that they all do. I am a scientist, and I accept the scientific theory of evolution because, like many other theories, it has many convincing lines of evidence and has stood the test of time. I also believe that there is a God and that he has a purpose for our lives. I think the fact that I evolved from previous forms of life detracts nothing from my significance as a person, nor does it detract from anyone else's significance. Why could it not be the case that God loved these other creatures as well? Why could it not be the case they had a purpose as well?

The idea (that many Christians seem to have) that the existence of previous life forms on our planet from which we arose would somehow leave us devoid of purpose and precludes the existence of a God seems a bit paranoid and egotistical to me. There are lot of creatures on this earth, folks. Yes, by our standards we are the most intelligent and advanced of them, but that doesn't mean we're the only ones that matter. And it doesn't mean that ones that existed prior to us didn't matter as well.

Now of course, there are certainly scientists and evolutionists who are atheist and do not believe that there is any higher being or higher purpose to our existence. There is nothing wrong with that, and I make no attempt to change their beliefs. But the acceptance of evolutionary theory, to me, does not have to have any logically derived implications for belief or disbelief in God. There are many who think as I do, and I have read their postings on other similar questions.

the assumption of evolution is regarding the actual international. It would not delve deeply into the evolution of the human strategies. As a psychologist I might desire to be a scientist, the evidence is obvious and that i'm keen to manage board on the data as ability evidence. i'm no longer a biologist nonetheless, so a good number of my artwork, analyzing and examine is composed of neurology and understanding. The strategies on my own is desirable and the greater I study approximately it the fewer i understand! How will we expect of, sense, love, hate and question the universe, what is going to we do it with? The strategies on my own? surprisingly unlikely, it extremely is only an organ. you may not shrink it up and discover your memories and thoughts interior it. yet we've them, while did we start up having them? Why did we start up having them? using fact our brains grew and we've been given richer foodstuff? possible yet no longer sufficient for me. The strategies exists outdoors the actual international, it extremely is unexplainable and unclassifiable. If something as obtrusive using fact the human strategies can exist and yet no longer bodily exist, then i'm keen to settle for that there are different astounding existences and that our scientific expertise is only a small area of an more desirable image. of course it must be the human strategies that created god! yet then that still places the question of while/the place/why/how did the human strategies come into existence?

Depend on how you define God. Some people believe God is this omnipotent being with absolute power. I believe God is a being superior to us but not absolute. When people who live in jungle saw an airplane fly by they think it's God, your ancestor saw a hurricane they think it's God....We use the word God to call thing we can't explain...

No, I think that one can believe that God created the earth, as well as natural processes such as evolution. It has been proven that species have evolved and adapted to their environments throughout time. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that they all came from a single cell. They could have been created and have evolved through time.
I am a Christian and I was educated in Christian schools where this was discussed. Not all Christians are opposed to science and not all "evolutionists" are atheists.

I think God made the start of everything and things evolved from there. He didn't just blink and there were sky scrappers and men with brief cases.

So I believe in evolution and God. Most people don't get that so I usually just don't talk about it.

Whether or not someone believes in evolution doesn't really have all that much to do with whether or not someone believes in God, if you think about it.

And by the way, there is so much evidence that supports the theory of evolution that you would have to be crazy to deny that it is correct.

they may just believe that even tho they feel god exists as a spiritual being that the theory of evolution explains all the other aspects of how the human race came about .. i feel they may indeed belive in the duality of this .. as there a church appointed scientists which you would think in essence would be a contradiction as to see science as tangable and still believe unquestioningly in the creation scriptures would be a trifle barmy .. x

some do some don't, I cant see how you could. You either believe God did it the way he said, or he lied. If you can not believe the first line of the book then how could you believe the rest. I believe every single word as inspired. I do not think I can pick and choose what I like or dislike.

I believe evolution is the process God created that allows his creation to grow and develop. God's creations are not 'static'. They are processes that enable the universe(s) to 'evolve' with time.
