I am a Wiccan and as for it being only females My husband is a Wiccan as well. Its kind of like asking if only women are catholics. Its a religon just a bit different from main stream. We have many similar beliefs with religons like Native Americans and worship many Gods and Goddesses much like a lot of old religions. Feel ree to im or email me if you have any questions. Blessed Be

Yes, there are Wiccans. I am one. It's not just a female thing though. There are male Wiccans too. I don't know any in person (I don't know ANY other Wiccan in person), but I have talked to some online.

Yes and no. If she's solitary, it is rather no longer a significant deal. She's more often than not simply frustrated that you simply advised anyone else with out her permission. Religion is individual and if she selected to inform you, you will have saved it to your self and allow her do the explaining to different peers as she sees have compatibility. It's very dubious that she's in an oathbound culture, but when she is, she rather is not intended to be telling different men and women approximately rituals and practises that her organization participates in. Still, it isn't in opposition to any laws to inform anyone you're Wiccan. Just what is going on in a individual, organization ritual. Even then, not anything dangerous could occur. She would get spoken to, viable kicked out, however she's no longer going to die, get unwell or come to be "cursed" considering she divulged her ideals to a pal.

I am actually an ordained priest in the Church of Wicca. And I also just happen to be a Male. I think the answer to Your question may lie in the fact that You need to make further enquiries of Men rather than just of Females.
Females are far more likely to jump on a band wagon so as to be a member of a social group of friends than are Males. Men tend to join for the sake of learning about Wicca and the Pagan side of society.

yes, there are such a thing as wiccans, and witches, often someone who is one is the other but not always. i used to be wiccan, but i'm more of an ecclectic non-theistic pagan now. and it's not just women, when i was studying i had two mentors--a male & female, both were wiccan 'preists'.

I am a woman, not a girl, and I am Wiccan. 'Wiccan' is actually a newer word, and I cringe to use it, it used to be 'of the Wiccae'. There are numerous Wiccans, thousands and thousands throughout the world and they are both men and women. Maybe if you check out www.witchvox.com you will learn more about the Pagan community and it's various religions.

Wicca is, unfortunately, a false religion created by Gerald Gardner to mimic the old pagan ways of witches before the 19th century.

The magic the wiccans claim to perform is entertaining and focusing, but does not work.
