(t+5)-4(t-2)]/8 =1/3
-3t+13=8/3
-3t= 8/3-104/3= -96/3
t= 96/9= 32/3

(t+5)/8 - (t-2)/2 = 1/3.........X by 24
=> 3(t+5) - 12(t-2) = 8(1)
remove brackets & the rest is easy

"(t + 5) / 8" is equal to "(t / 8) + (5 / 8)".
