I asked a similar question earlier execept it was for a different player. I was wondering do you think L.C. Greenwood should be in the Hall of Fame. He is a 6 time Pro Bowler and was named to the 1970s all decade team. Was part of the Steel Curtain defense that helped the Steelers win 4 Super Bowls in the 1970s. He had 73.5 sacks in his career (unoffically) and had 14 fumble recoveries. Hall of Famer or not?

He definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I think L.C Greenwood is at a disadvantage because because so many Steelers of the 70's are in the Hall of Fame. Most writers (voters) think that there are already enough Steelers from the 1970's in the Hall of Fame. So they will not easly ellect another. There are several defensive linemen in that Hall of Fame way worse stats than L.C Greenwood has.

someone asked about Greenwood the other day. The answer is still no. teams used to run right at and over him. One of the worst run stoppers ever. He only got that many sacks because Greene was double-teamed and they had White and Holmes to contend with too! White was better than Greenwood.

L. Greenwood wrote one good song, "I am proud to be an America". Writing one song will not get nobody in no rock and roll hall of fame. Foool.
