Not very often but it does happen to me occasionally.

Try being a female and owning a huge garage and a distribution center that sells automotive parts. Every once in a while, I'll run across an old-timer who insists on speaking with one of the 'fellows'. hahahaha! They get over it, though.

So I guess that in a way, it is considered to be discrimination. :)

I am a white Christian straight conservative male. I can’t say that I have ever really been adversely discriminated against because most people know I won’t hesitate to stomp a mud hole in them if they tried.

Harassment is another issue altogether. I have had to listen to people here at work refer to upper management as “the great white parade” and once while I was talking about my heritage I was told “Scottish/Irish you all look the same to me” by a black lady. She didn’t even realize what she had said until she thought about it for a second. We are friends regardless.

Additionally there is a homosexual male who crosses the line with his comments to me every single day. He has been reported by several individuals and for some reason he is still around. I am thick skinned so I don’t much care, I am secure in my sexuality but it is harassment nonetheless and I absof_ckinlutely guarantee you that if he were a straight male harassing a female he would have been gone a year ago.

My wife who is of Mexican heritage (proud American mind you, would never consider flying any other flag than the great red, white and blue) does experience discrimination on a mildly larger scale than I. she chalks it up as she should though, just dumb-a_ses. ;O)

I'm not religious and I live in Mormon Utah.
The only children who play with my kids or accept invitations to play are children whose parents are not associated with the LDS church.
It's hurtful to watch your children faces having been told by a Mormon child that they are the devils children.
Also I can't step foot in the temple in Salt lake City because I am not "worthy" and if I happened to have a Mormon friend or relative marry in the temple I would not be permitted to attend because I am not Mormon.

I can't buy full proof liquor in this state because the Mormon Church doesn't approve of drinking, so all booze has a lower alcohol content than anywhere else in the U.S

Last year I tried to get an extra job working for a lawn company but was turned down because it was "physically challenging enough for a man"

I was also turned down for a job at a department store because I was not Hispanic. I'm serious, I had to sign an acknowledgment that priority would be given to a minority and it specified Hispanic. My argument that I was a woman and thus "a minority" wasn't entertained.

Of course we all are. I have been refused employment because I was a white male even though the company needed help. They were forced to refuse the hiring of anymore white males because their work force did not match the local demographics. The big problem was that the minorities that they were told they had to hire did not apply for the jobs. They met their quota by hiring black women and Indian women so they could double up on the categories. They would have hired anyone who applied that was a minority they just could not get the applications.

Well I would have to say this was discrimination based strictly on skin color and enforced by the government.

Several times.

I wasn't given a job because I'm a middle-aged white guy, and they wanted a young woman with big boobs.

I missed out on a manager position, again because I'm a middle-aged white guy and the office is mainly staffed by hispanic women -- the manager position went to a hispanic woman with absolutely no management experience, yet I had several years in leadership/manager positions in the Army.

Constantly -- everyone is.

Discrimination is the process of choosing between two distinct options based on differences.

You discriminate when you choose one restaurant as your favorite -- or pick one candidate for a job as better qualified than another -- or when you pick one person as more attractive to date.

Those are all discrimination, but they are not illegal or invalid.
