Depending on what species, possibly. But they would need to be moved into a larger tank in a couple months. Many Cichlids grow very quickly and will be too large for a 10 gallon even as juveniles. Email me with the specifics on what type of Cichlids.

Chiclids get way to big for a 10 gallon tank. you could put one in there but he would soon out grow it. 10 gallon tanks are more for guppies, neons, tetras and smaller fish

Ive stored a oscar in a 10 gallon tank yet purely for a month, additionally the oscar became purely 2 inchs as i became protecting it becuase it became the sole surviving fry from its mom and dad. yet now it rather is fortuitously in a 290 gallon tank alongside with its mom and dad and is now 9 inches long and 5 inches severe. anyhow you're able to do it yet no longer for an prolonged time. yet for installation a tank what i did with my previous one became which you enable it cycle with the decor an gravel ,and so on in it. Then positioned him in yet ensure you nevertheless positioned food in despite if the fish isn't in there. as that's going to enable micro organism to amass. the reason you tank gets grimy as though somebody poured milk into your tank is with the help of the fact the micro organism has too plenty bio load on it. in basic terms provide it a week then he will have a clean abode!

Yes you can but only as a temporary situation. Depending on the type of cichlid they will grow fast. You should plan on getting at least a 30 if you plan on raising cichlids.

for a 10 gallon tank, 1 cichlid, even if it's a baby because it will outgrow the tank. You can try getting those dwarf cichlids, such as rams. rams are small though, they get about 4 inches.
and remember you can't put other fishes with the cichlids, because they will attack and eat the other fishes.

Depends on what type. Most cichlids will require a lot more room as they grow. They will also become more aggressive as they are growing and find themselves confined to a small space.
What type of cichlids are they?
