I think Cole is nice, but I agree that Coley sounds like a girl. I guess that is because my daughter's nickname is Coley.

Coley sounds like Moley. And i don't like the name Cole because there are too many people i strongly dislike with that name.

If you want your kid to be ridiculed, go for it. You obviously (hopefully) arent aware that a Coley is a kind of fish. Like cod, or pollack. I'll never understand why people think its ok to just make up crap when it comes to naming their kids.
