I'm 15 and I'm only 4'9. I've heard that girls stop growin when they get their periods.. So does that mean that since I've gotten my period when I was 9 I've already stopped growing? Also, if I've stopped growing why are my boobs still getting bigger? If my boobs are getting bigger does that mean that there's a change that I'll grow, at the most, to 5'0?

Height wise grils grow until they are 18-21. breasts can grow until a woman is in her mid-20s. You don't stop growing after you get your period.

You don't stop right when you get your period. You can grow from 1 to 6 inches after you get your period. On AVERAGE, girls grow 2 to 3 inches after they start their period. Since, you got your period when you were nine, I think you might be done growing now. You can get an x-ray done to see your bone age. Your boobs will probably keep growing until you are 17 or 18 years old.

I'm 15, and I'm 5'0. My boobs are getting bigger, too, it seems. I had my period at 9, too. I haven't gotten taller in 2 years. So I guess I'm finished. Nothing wrong with being short. Embrace it.

God that period thing is such a lie! You grow until your 16-18 years old, doesn't matter when you started. And your boobs are growing because you're gaining weight. Boobs are mostly fat. Man, what garbage do they teach in schools today?

Just because you start your period does not mean you stop growing. LMAO!! There is no set age at which you can stop growing. I was 5'3" until I was 24 then sprouted up 2".

you will probably keep growing. i got my period when i was 12, and im 13 now and still growing. dont worry about it.
