Any number can be the lonliest number. When I was married, I was a lot lonlier than I am now.
People talk about being in a houseful of people and still being lonely.
I am not lonely near as often, now that I am one.

Yes one is the loneliest number, it's all by itself. Zero can't be lonely because there isn't anything there to be lonely. My favorite number is two because it's company, three's a crowd & obviously so are the other numbers.

It would have to be a fraction(like being a half wit) that would be lonelier because then you wouldn't have even yourself to talk to.
