As small as possible.

Depends on what your definition of perfect is. If by perfect you mean the most efficient type of government where decisions can be made and implemented quickly, you are looking for some kind of totalitarian government. If by perfect you mean that all people are granted certain things by the government (health care, retirement, unemployment insurance, etc.), you are looking for a socialistic government. If by perfect you mean that every person has the opportunity to succeed and the freedom of choice, you are looking for either a republican (elect representatives to make law, like the United States) or democratic (people directly make law) government.

Every form of government has its benefits and its drawbacks, so there really is no "perfect" form of government as no one type of government does everything perfectly.

Socialism but not of the Marxist beliefs but more of a Social Democracy. We have private companies like now but more government regulation, but medical and drug comanies would be fully in the control of the government so that access to food and health care would be availible to everyone. tax the rich what we need like Bill Gates. He is too rich if you take half his assets he will still be rich. Do the same to the Hilton's. Since people can't open their hearts to help those in need the government should take it.

Get rid of welfare and replace it with CCC and other government work programs. make the people earn their paychecks. The government should give people a hand up NOT a hand out.

We all need to work together.

Also we should move to a more true democracy where we the people vote for the laws. Congress can propose lwas and well as us but when it is to be put in effect we go to the polls not them. We make the laws.

One more there should be changes to the UCMJ or taken away completly. Military members should have the full rights of the constitution. It's not fair to make them fight for rights they can't enjoy.

We need to look to the wisdom of Afeni and Tupac Shakur, Huey Newton and Che Guevara.

Revolucion!
Revolucion!!
Revolucion!!!

In the perfect world, a dictatorship with a benovelent leader who listens to his people. Things that needed to get done would get done quickly and efficiently.

In a not so perfect world, communism with the peoples best intrests at the heart of the government. Things would not get done as quickly, but they would get done.

In this world, democracy. Elected offcicals with term limits and checks and balances. Little gets done quickly because of all the discourse, but that is the best way to weed out corruption and greed. The reason our government is so messed up is because people are barely involved in it, and our leaders have set up a system where they are almost guaranteed reelection.

the perfect form of government is a socialist democracy. But because that requires perfect people, a socialist democracy, in practice, can never live up to its own ideals.

The one where I have all the power. But seriously, as long as the people of a country are different, there can not be a perfect government.

There is no perfect form of government... but I prefer a democratic republic (that's all I know though). I am an American and I like our system but as I get older and see the partisan wrangling intensify I think a parliamentary democratic republic is more and more interesting.

One that provides military protection and prints currency, but other than that stays out of the countries affairs and holds little power over the states who should be entitled to run their schools, roads, etc on their own. Also one that does not include catastrophes like welfare- which is abused beyond belief and one that does not penalize people from protecting themselves.

A government of one. Absolute personal freedom, what I say goes, and I have nobody to answer to but me.

Anything I can't do for myself, I probably don't need done in the first place.

The one that was created in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. It was a whole lot better than the omnivorous monstrosity currently in D.C.

I'd agree with DaBoy above, with one small caveat: We're a republic, not a democracy. So, yeah, our democratic republic works fine in my eyes.
