My goodness!

Capitalism, the bad guy again!

What nonsense. Chase out the job makers, tax the rich. Will they stay or leave? When they leave, what happens to the jobs? Will the government nationalize the businesses? Isn't that socialism?

Yep!

Greed. The bad word people attach to people who want more for themselves, who want success.

The American Dream is the greatest threat to socialism in our country. The key to destroying it is calling our elected officials enough names, spreading unfounded rumors, simplifying things in ways that make them look bad, and treating them as "Guilty until proved innocent".

Won't work. Too many Americans are better educated.

Your post is simplistic and silly.

No, to both. Our leaders reflect the public, but with slightly better manners and a whole lot more information than we have.

Yes I agree with Amen and all that.
Bush is a great leader, its too bad other countries don't think like the "west" do, because if they did, then they would all cheer him on for keeping the world safe.

Iraq was never a civilized country, i don't see why other countries think dumb and believe this war is useless. Wake up, smell the coffee. Get off the Stone Age, get with the FUTURE, people! Why hate Bush for hunting down terrorists world wide?

I guess people would rather die than stay safe in a very secure world.

That's how it has always been, read a history book. Stop confusing your political beliefs with a sudden disdain for politicians, they are all like that, nothing has changed and until we stand up and call for real reform and not what Madman Pelosi called for nothing will change

Typical irresponsible pathetic reprehensible whining !!

This is a democracy. We ,The People are responsible for who we elect .WE ELECT/CHOOSE OUR LEADERS .

This being true and in fact it is the case,it is YOU and every other citizen who is responsible.

While I completely agree with your other comments ,your attempt to make a difference between the US government and Americans is just garbage .This would be true in a dictatorship but NOT a democracy.

Until such time as a majority of citizens TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for THEIR DEMOCRACY and HOLD THEIR elected representatives and leaders to ACCOUNT ,then we deserve the government we get !!!

In the last Federal Election only some 49 % of citizens voted.Ergo,a slight majority doesn't give a damn about our democracy ,our rights and freedoms to which I say ,damn you for that means that my father and sooo many others died in vain in WW11 etc.

In 2006,Americans knew what Bush was all about and what he was.and is all about is a lying war monger who used a pack of vile/filthy lies to get us into an ILLEGAL war of choice in Iraq that has resulted in the slaughter so far of 400,000 innocent Iraqi civilians.

And YOU tell ME what the majority of Americans did as responsible citizens ?????

I WILL TELL YOU !! They re-elected this lying perpetrator of crimes against humanity and in doing so has added another 100,000 to the innocent Iraqi civilian body bcount.

Now but two years later and no really new knowledge about the evil one in the White House, these whining childish majority who re-elected Bush now want him gone if a 68% un-favourable job rating on Bush means anything.

Don;t you dare tell me or that Iraqi women who had to use a shovel and pail to pick up the body parts of her blown away child that would NOT have been blown away if Bush had not waged war and if Aericans had not re-elected him, that the American people did not in fact KILL her child.

JUST ASK HER if SHE makes any distinction between the US government and the US people .SHE DOES NOT !!!!!

In a democracy , leaders are but a reflection of the majority of voting citizens NOR MATTER HOW HARD you try and play your Holier-than-thou game.

You obviously are a caring person and I do hope one day you turn your anger and revulsion into political activism and become responsible for YOUR democracy,YOUR reputation and good name.
