Since about 10 yrs old, I experienced lost time, always 3 hrs. I asked my MD today what was going on & he had no answer. Yesterday, I sat down on the sofa @ 12 pm. then @3:20 I woke up. I never laid down. I don't remember anything. It makes me so angry. @ 10 yrs old, I took a bike ride on our farm in the woods. Mom said be back in 15 mim for lunch. It was 11:30. When I got back home, parents were frantic. It was 2:30. I thought I was only gone for 15 min. I got punished because they couldnt' find me and kept asking where I went. I had no answer. This happens to me about 4 times a year. Any thoughts? I know it sounds bizzar, but it's the truth, I'm @ my witts end. Can't figure this out. Anyone else ever experience this? Please don't give me nasty answers, I'm really serious. Thank you

Poodlelv, my friend, poeple always tell me I have ESP. Don't want to believe it. I always know when someone I love is going to die because I smell flowers & no one else can. The smell is so strong. They die the next day. This has happened 8 times to me. I''m not the youngest, I'm in the middle. I know what you're talking about, but this is different in some way. At 10 yrs old, my parents just thought I was lying about where I was & I wasn't lying. I just didn't know where the time went. Like you said, I thought I was gone 15 min, turned out to be 3 hrs. I was told about abductions and this happens to those who are abducted by aliens, but I don't believe that either. Thank you for your input. Keep in touch.

Mermer, I have it sometimes but mine is related to some kind of esp. When I hold old objects I can see where they used to be like in a house and what the rest of the room where it sat looked like, or a piece of jewelry, ect. I will be looking at the object then start a daydream of sorts then maybe 30 mins or more has passed before someone bumps into me or a loud noise brings me out of it. With the change of the seasons and this will sound weird, I can feel like ripples in time. I can tell when the seasons are going to change before they do and that is when the time ripples come more apparent. It's like staring out to space and all of a sudden you see pictures in your head of what the area around me looked like 50 to more years ago. With the people, the cars, animals, ect. If I am not disturbed by a phone call or someone or something I can be stuck for an hour or more and it will feel like 5 mins went by. I know you don't remember your experiences but maybe you have the ability to do the same thing to a more extensive result or actually move through time in your mind and it feel only like a few minutes passed and becuase you are more connected to the experience you may not remember anything as a protective reflex in your body. I was told an aunt on my grandmothers side had the same thing I have and that was back in the late 1800's to early 1900's and she died in the mid 1940's at age 94. She didn't predict the future or was some kind of self proclaimed pagan she was a devoute christian and embraced her gift to keep the family grounded she said. Quoted by my mother. It seems only the women in our family have this and my sister did not get it. It is usually the youngest out of the children that seems to get it. Maybe this is what you have. My mothers electical feild in her body stops watches that are run on batteries or crystals. She has to wear wind up watches. She can not go into MRI's because the readings never come back clear. Even doctors have claimed they don't understand it. So there are many people out there that have these things happen to them but are afraid to say anything because they are worried about what others will think of them or claim they are crazy. But, I believe you are ok and that you should try to wear a recorder so if this happens you will know what actually occured. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

There are two things you need to do, one is demand that your doctor run every test possible to find the physical part of the problem, the other is to see a mental professional and maybe together they can pinpoint the problem. I've lost time before but not quite like you, sometimes it was attributed to sleep aptnia(spelling is wrong) I use to fall asleep while talking, driving etc.. and won't remember much after wards, I use to take naps as a little girl and do strange things I don't remember doing. Today, I know that the things I don't remember which is only at night is because I take ambien and they tend to cause memory loss, sleep walking, sleep driving and sleep eating, so consult with professionals unless someone is feeding you something you're unaware of in that case they should find it in your blood stream.

We all move via emotions of despair in our lives. It's aspect of being human. It's now not great, however it is aspect of who and what we're. We can not avert it and once we battle it and win, we pop out as higher people due to the fact that of it. We study difficult courses in lifestyles due to the fact that of it. By our very nature, people are hooked on what we consider is satisfying however will make us finally unsatisfied. Such is the direction of human lifestyles, till we study from our errors. And it takes a lifestyles time of errors to finally study (if a few of us ever do). In the top we will be able to most effective take a look at. Something is making you consider this manner and also you ought to speak to a person who's non-judgemental to discover what's going on for your lifestyles. You have plenty to deliver this global, you simply do not realize it but. If no one will deliver you a threat, why now not deliver your self a threat?

Its not clear what your condition is based on your history but, I believe that neurpsychiatric testing could be helpful with diagnosis and treatment. Depression, dementia, and related neurological disorders such as stroke and seizure should all be considered. Several Iraqi war veterans have experienced similar things, and it is being attributed to stress, battle fatigue, and post traumatic stress syndrome. Your neurologist and/or primary care physician should be able to facilitate a referral for you. Most states and counties offer psychometric services for those who cannot afford it. You need to press this issue with your doctor, and let him know that you are serious about finding out the underlying reason for these blackouts.

You should talk to a mental health professional. Fugues (lost time) can be brought about by stress, mental disorders, or (worst case) brain tumors.
Assuming that you're truly having these, it could indicate a serious issue, and you should get medical help - not the kind you can find on an internet chat board.

I'm surprised your parents haven't had an MRI or Catscan done yet. See a doctor, black outs at any age are abnormal. It worries me that you are 10 years old going out on your own and losing time. Have your parents take you to a doctor.

sounds like when you were younger you probably just lost track of time, thats typical for all kids. As for you still losing those 3 hours, maybe your falling asleep. I would definitely have an MRI to see whats goin on. You could very well be blacking out or something like that.

I would go back to my GP and ask to be referred. Did he offer any couselling, to get to the bottom of this and to put your mind at ease. The best thing is not to worry too much about it but try to address the problem. Also you could ask you parents about other family members to see if it is genetic.
