When she went there to help the Victims of the Earthquake, and discussed terrorism, do you think she went there for fame, or to actually help people?

I hate it that she went to Pakistan. I wish the western people could just stay in their part of the world. I met Angelina Jolie there. I went to Pakistan when I heard that she went there. She was nice, but she was American. Why are Americans pouring all over Pakistan? They might be planning to attack Future Day (probably) Pashtunistan, and we don't want Americans running around Pakistan, like they do in Al Iraq. Pakistan can solve their own problems, once they assasinate Dictator General Pervez Musharraf.

From what I understand, she went there for a morale boost for the aid workers and survivors of the earthquake as a UN ambassador. I was on a Asia desk at HQ at the time, and for our staff who were working in the earthquake affected zones, it did cheer them up for the day. Brad Pitt was also there with her and he helped unload one of the planes of supplies. It was a low-key visit and I don't think she made any press statements while in Pakistan. I also don't recall aspects of terrorism as part of her particular visit but maybe she did in the capital.

Compared to a lot of other big names that will tour disasters, visit refugee camps, etc., she is actually much more lowkey and easy to handle than other celebrities and politicians and their entourages.

Think what you will -- if you were living and/or working out of a plastic tent in winter weather, someone coming to visit can boost your morale when everything else looks impossible to accomplish...(whether staying alive and picking up the pieces as a survivor....or trying to deal with the huge needs if you are an aid worker).

Who cares. She's a very pretty woman, but does that really make her worth discussing?

She probably did it for some personal "feel good" reason plus to boost her image.

This is the most important thing in my life. I think and feel about it all the time.
Who, the hell, cares?

Shopping for babies.

She probably did it for a little bit of both. Who cares why, at least she's trying.

Unless she went there to find and kill Osama, I hope they hold her hostage. Then maybe Sean Penn can go there to to negotiate her release
