I Need You by The Beatles. Help! 1965.
My first ever girlfriend had dumped me and I was confused as to why. I spent about four days with this song going round in my head.
I didn't actually need her...it was just the first time a song fitted into my life.
I loved the Beatles music so much! I am still glad that I was there when it happened.

There's two songs that remind me of the only man I ever fell in love with...Loreena McKennitt's "Mummer's Dance" (it was the song that was playing on the radio the first night we were together and the rhythm was so seductive I knew I wanted his hands all over me!) and Shania Twain's "Still the One" because after 10 years, he's still the one I want!!

"Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison
My first love was my childhood sweetheart. I'd go into details, but it's too much to type, and that song exlpains it all, word for word, from singing together, making out behind a stadium, growing up and moving away and then seeing each other again and falling in love...

I'm not in love by 10cc
We never went out, were never a couple. I fell for her big time and could only dream what it would be like if we were together. We were really good friends and I never had the courage to tell her how I felt as I thought she didn't like me the way I liked her. She went out with another guy, we finished college and I never saw her again.
A few years later one of my friends told me that this girl had confided in her that she had been in love with me too. I never knew.....

Fighter by Christina Aguilera:
After all you put me through
You'd think I'd despise you
But in the end, I wanna thank you
'Cause you made me that much stronger
Well I, thought I knew you
Thinking, that you were true
I guess I, I couldn't trust
Called your bluff, time is up
'Cause I've had enough
You were, there by my side
Always, down for the ride
But your, joy ride just came down in flames
'Cause your greed sold me out in shame, mmhmm
After all of the stealing and cheating
You probably think that I hold resentment for you
But, uh uh, oh no, you're wrong
'Cause if it wasn't for all that you tried to do
I wouldn't know, just how capable
I am to pull through
So I wanna say thank you
'Cause it
Makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
It makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Ooh, yeah, ohh
Never, saw it coming
All of, your backstabbing
Just so, you could cash in
On a good thing before I'd realize your game
I heard, you're going round
Playing, the victim now
But don't, even begin
Feeling I'm the one to blame
'Cause you dug your own grave
After all of the fights and the lies
'Cause you're wanting to haunt me
But that won't work anymore
No more, uh uh, it's over
'Cause if it wasn't for all of your torture
I wouldn't know how, to be this way now
And never back down
So I wanna say thank you
'Cause it
Makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
It makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter
How could this man I thought I knew
Turn out to be unjust, so cruel
Could only see the good in you
Pretended not to see the truth
You tried to hide your lies
Disguise yourself
Through living in denial
But in the end you'll see
You, won't, stop, me
I am a fighter and I
(I'm a fighter)
I ain't gon' stop
(I ain't gon' stop)
There is no turning back
I've had enough, yeah...
Makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
(Oh, ooh yeah, ooh yeah)
It makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter
Thought I would forget (thought I)
I remember (ohh)
'Cause I remember (ohh)
I remember
Makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
It makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter

More than words by Extreme. It's a song we made out to. I think about him every time I hear it. Sweet memories. Good question.
