His birthday is comming up soon, and he just bought a new bass boat like yesterday, and I thought that it would be nice to get him something for it, but I dont know anything about it... I thought maybe a boat cover or something???

If the boat is not equipped with a GPS unit you might look into one, They are not cheap but very useful for fishermen and boating in general, (pinpoints exactly his favorite fishing spots). Also a great navigational aid.
I have a Garmin GPS Map 276c on my boat, it has a large color screen and external power source.

theres nothing better us men like for our boats than cool cups. they r the little foam cups that u stick beers or sodas into so they dont get hot out in the sun. best invention period for boats. go to any marina store or west marine and im sure theyll have them.

get out your digital camera and take about 6 photos that show detail and you can see what's really there in the boat and make note of the brand and length of the b-boat ---- take these to the boat dealer that sold the boat and talk to the parts counter ''dude'' and get the best info on ''what to buy '' that will be most appreciated and will serve the bf on his ''fishing trips''....................

needs something personal to make it his boat, cover, some sticker decals that look really kewl, always need life jackets, throw cushions etc...
Better yet buy a fishing rod and a picknick basket and tell him to take you along too.

well, i think a gas card wouldn't be to bad of a gift...expecially if u just can't decide on what to give him...he's always going to need gas....right? hope that helped =)
