Can goldfish and seamonkeys live together in a bowl? It's just one fish, and it's a medium sized bowl.

"Sea Monkeys" are brine shrimp. My guess is your goldfish eats them. That would be unfortunate, because then they couldn't do circus acts for you anymore.

As by now you realize, no the two cannot live together peacefully. The goldfish would happily eat your other pet. Don't get upset because people tell you not to keep the goldfish in a bowl. They only do that to help. If you have not already done so, check out the websites you can find online about goldfish care. Some are great and include pictures. We have many fish, but still love the goldfish!

Absolutely not. Goldfish can only live with other goldfish. They prefer cooler water rather than the 75-80F water the neons and other tropical fish prefer. Also, goldfish tend to produce lots of waste, causing increase in ammonia which the neons most likely cannot handle. Also, your aquarium is a bit too small for goldfish since when fully grown, goldfish can be anywhere from 7-10inches. General rule of thumb: 20 gallons for first goldfish, 10 extra gallons for every goldfish after. Why not consider other fish with the neons? You can have anything like: Bettas African Dwarf Frogs Cories Guppies Barbs Dwarf Gouramis Mollies Platies Swordtails Danios

No they can't. Sea Monkeys are brine shrimp, and all fish love to eat brine shrimp.

Also, goldfish should never be kept in a bowl. The minimum sized tank for a goldfish is 10 gallons becuse they can grow over a foot long and produce massive amounts of ammonia.

Please don't put goldfish, of all fish, in a bowl. Even one goldfish needs a 20gal tank, and you DO realize that most goldfish grow to be at least a foot. Goldfish also make a LOT of waste so they need a filter and aeration in their -tank-. If you want a bowl fish, try a couple of FEMALE bettas (fighting fish) or just one male (just make sure you feed them correctly-the petshop could inform you-and change out the water at least every couple of weeks).

No, they cannot live together. Sea Monkeys are actually brine shrimp which is something that goldfish eat. However, growing shrimp for your fish to eat is an excellent idea. It is healthy and more natural than flakes or pellets.

no, goldfish should get anywhere form 8" to 24" depending on the type (and no, not smaller, 8" is the smallest type) and produce TONS of ammonia. they should never be kept in a bowl. the least is 10gallons of filtered water.

besides the goldfish undoubtedly eating the sea monkeys, I'm fairly sure they would die from the ammonia production of the goldfish.

only if you want your fish to eat good, and also seamonkeys are brine shrimp the "brine" saltwater mix would make the goldfish sick or kill it
