It all depends on how much prepping the shop will have to do and how many coats you want on it. You can take it to Maaco and paint it as the car comes it, no prepping @ $200

If cost is the issue, repainting the same color is usually cheaper since it is not necessary to paint the inside of the door jambs or under the hood and trunk lid. Black is a pretty easy color to paint. The old finish must be prepped first but that is no big deal. You may want to have a clear coat on it, too. Should cost between $500 - $700 depending where you live. The tinting varies greatly depending on many factors but you may be able to get it all done in one package deal with the right shop.

Nobody who would do a proper job would touch a car for a repaint for $300-400. Try in the thousands if you want a proper job done. And do not listen to the other person, Yes you can buy the paint etc for that price, But the tools etc needed and experience?? You'd end up with a shoddy job. And one who cant even spell right or use proper grammar, Who apparently works in "commercial"

anywhere from 300-4000 on a paint job if you do not have the money the best is to prep the car yourself and have them paint it . it would be alot cheaper

if you do everything yourself, it is very cheap, all you need is an air compressor, and a certain paint gun u can get for like $50
