no the guy isn't a de-de-de. i think of that could be a great expression. It got here from a narrative in any case. It became a narrative that there became a king and each thing he touched grew to become to gold, so he had to placed on gloves (that grew to become to gold) or have somebody do stuff for him. And that wasn't somewhat a question.

With the price of gold at an historic high, I'd touch a skyscraper (perhaps the "Burj" in Dubai - emptied of people, of course) and cash it in, before this artificially inflated market collapses...

it would have to be only everything I WANTED to turn to gold. then I would turn Mt. Everest into gold then sell it for the spot price. then, since I would be a threat to the world's economy and I don't want to deal with any assination attempts I'd sign legal documents on nationwide TV and make deal with the UN not to turn anything else into gold provided I kept the money from everest.

what if your butt was itchy. lol. then you would turn yourself to gold, because yeah. and if somebody else scratched it, they would turn to gold...wow, that would be lame. i'd have to go with...um..my house, cuz then i would have a WHOLE building made of gold. that would be awesome. lol.
