I wish I knew! And I wish they knew how ridiculous they look. They can't really "throw down" or "represent" when they're busy holding up their pants!

How do you know what we think when we see someone? Do you have some special powers? I guess you're talkin about those gothic people? When I see them, I don't think cult or anything because cults are pretty rare, even though people bring it up every time they're bashing whites. I think they're trying to express some type of unhappiness or underlining the fact that they don't fit in. If a black person just wears black, i really don't judge them for that. I think that's a pretty stupid generalization.

They have embraced the jail culture. That is how men in jail wear their clothes, and it has become mainstream. I just feel bad for all those men who wear the size that those kids are buying, they can't find any pants!
They do look stupid. Also I am 28 years old and I remeber when that look first came into style in the early '90's. They need to change their fashion big time!

Its a shame these kids don't know that this trend started in an all prison, as a way to let other prisoners know that you're "Gay for the Stay". Not to mention. . .the don't allow belts in prison. . so everyone was getting the Hershey Highway treatment. Maybe that's what these kids want us to know Haaaaaaaahahahahahhah!!!! >:^*

Because it is the current trend that is going on and they want to try to fit in and look cool. Though I dont really approve it. It seems kind of weird to me, and agitating to try to hold your pants up and pick them back up every few seconds.

it started in prison. The new fresh meat wore their pants like that for easy access for the older meaner prisoners that they belonged to. and hate to point this out, but its mostly seen as black. if it was a good thing, it would be "stolen" from the black race. but since its a bad thing, whites do it too.

Same reason all teenagers do stupid stuff. For attention from other students or their parents or the teachers. It causes a rowl. Bad attention is better than no attention at all.

I think they tie their belts really tight. I mean, you can't have a hand on your pants all the time. That just wouldn't be worth looking cool!
