you're making the comparable mistake many liberals do: you're basing your view of the international on what you notice right this moment around your self. You declare you "understand by potential of adventure" that there are "countless" people who hate O'Reilly. My wager is that those "countless"human beings are your friends, and your friends are all liberals. circulate out and make some conservative pals (or perhaps average ones) and you need to without warning finally end up understanding people who like O'Reilly, as properly as having your critiques and perspectives challenged and examined. O'Reilly's coach is not any. a million using fact he appeals to greater human beings than different competing exhibits. it extremely is that easy. And on an identical time as O'Reilly has his critiques (that are often extreme of Bush), he does make the attempt to have a stability of visitors on his coach, that's greater desirable than the different comparable coach will do. Sorry, however the reality hurts.

Enough people to make him #1. It's a mix between news, opinion, and entertainment, which makes it a great "show."
There's a lot of media stuff out there. If you're not entertaining you're not going to be successful. Rush Limbaugh is #1 because he's entertaining and informative at the same time. You have to figure out how to do both.

If I could take a count of how many questions bashing "The O'Reilly Factor" have been posted over the last year, you'd see a lot of people take it seriously.

Deep thought is totally correct. The O'Reilly Factor is a commentary. Mr. O'Reilly himself has even stated this.

I do not watch Fox at all. I caught O'Reilly once to find out what people were talking about. I found him lacking in fact and substance. So he isn't a newsman. I think he is as entertaining as a case of diarrhea.

I think it's commentary. Pure and simple. O'Rielly doesn't bring you the news. He brings you his opinion on it. If I just got my news from just O'Reilly or for that matter the editorial and op ed pages of the paper, I'd be in trouble.

it's kind of like taking stephen colbert seriously... although, colbert actually makes logical points through satire instead of screaming at people without reason... but seriously, i can't believe that people actually take o'reilly as a news source.

it is his talk show to present his views on the news, he must be doing something right or he would not be so popular.
