He gets angry and defensive and he'll try to pin the blame on me.

You know, the old "I can't believe you called Cheaters, how could you do that to me" line.

Most people do not read the whole question.

Mine will constantly question me (like he thinks Im lying) and is trying to get to the bottom of it, then switches my words around to try to see if I correct him. I am much better at detecting a lie than he is, most likely because he's lied so many times and I have not.

Liars always get defensive and nervous. I've never known my current husband to lie, but my ex lied all the time. He would become so self-righteous. But the dead give away was the fact that his lies never made sense. His stories would unravel quickly under questioning. He was a terrible liar but continued to do it all the time. ?

He either gets defensive and tries to change the subject or he looks me right in the eye with a pleasant look on his face face and says what lie he was going to tell.

My first husband was so funny...his eyes would get real big and he'd talk in circles. Sometimes, he'd smile and blush, especially when he knew he was busted...and for some reason I kept forgiving him, because that sideways smile and bashful blush would just steal my heart...at least until it finally "steeled" my heart.

My husband rubs his hands on his head then I call him out on it and he gets a goofy smile. I always know when he's lying.

That is not true their are people out there that can lie and you would swear they were telling you the truth my husband is one of them people. If you can't read minds then you can't read them.
