Absolutely not! I have no need for that kind of ridiculous drama. I would hold the opinion that this person I did not know was probably lying. I'm far more likely to take the word of my wife over a stranger!

yes I would. I would be so angry but I would much rather know than not. Because you know someday I will find out anyway so I would always appreciate that someone was honest.

I have known people who were good and honest their whole life and everyone trusted them and they still messed up. Their spouses just knew they could trust them. It's ridiculous to think your spouse could never lie to you. I would listen to what the stranger said and then I would trust my instincts about whether it was true or not. I trust my husband but if he did something that wrong what are the chances he would feel the need to come tell me himself. Seriously?!?

I always believe it was best to know everything but when i was told by someone what my husband was doing I wish the God I would of stopped her from telling me.My marriage isn't the same and never will be again because I wanted to know.

Nope. because that could be just another accusation. Misery loves company and if someone is miserable, then they would work hard to mess someone else up because they get joy out of it. I say if you didn't see them do it, then you can't prove it and then that is just hear say from that point o n. now if you catch them red handed then that is another story. now if someone told me my husband was on the "Down Low" I would probably hire a private investigator. that is something serious...

It would depend on how they presented the information and why they were telling me.

Guy I have never seen or heard of telling me: "Your husband is sleeping with my wife." Okay, that is pretty believable. (as long as he isn't suggesting we "get even")

Girl he works with telling me: "Your husband has been sleeping with me." Well, if she wants him for herself then telling me would be a means to an end. (piss me off so I will leave him.)

I suppose it would also depend on the motives of the person telling me. (Why are they telling me)

yes i would want to know what my spouse was doing, but i would make sure it was true, i would investigate it, and go from there, but it is always best to know what may be going on rather than be in the dark about something. at least u would have time to react to whatever it is is you've been forewarned.

No...because if I want to know something about what my spouse did...I will ask him and not rely on what a stranger says. He knows better not to do something that I wouldn't approve of...we have talked extensively about what is appropriate and what is not.

It doesn't matter.....you won't believe anything bad about your partner until you catch them red handed.
None the less, I don't have to worry about that...being in an open relationship, we don't have any reason to keep secrets from each other.
