What an amazing waste of time.

windows pulls that info from the drivers installed for your hardware, or from the hardware's firmware.

so, in short, without either the wrong drivers installed (which could potentially damage your hardware) you can't display the wrong hardware devices.

what you CAN do is install a virtual machine on your operating system, and emulate any hardware you wish.

No, unless you install an incorrect driver...but doing that would make your hardware run poorly.

There may be a way to trick it in registry. But I'm not sure where to find that or if it even works. That would be my only suggestion, if that doesn't work, then I don't think it's possible.

No, it reads what your hardware is,and what ever it is identified as,that is what will be displayed,Haven't been telling people you have something you haven't got ,have you?
