Secret Asian Man- I agree on some things, but the mangaka (manga writers) don't always work on the anime interpretation so the animes are sometimes not their perspective at all or they just make a few decisions on the shows.

Meme_ I love anime movies!! They are always so eccentric and dare to be different which always makes them interesting and exciting with great art.

I have room in my life for both. Manga is nice because you can read at your own pace, and you can let your imagination go wild, but you lose some of the subtlety because it's translated from Japanese. I read my manga in English or Mandarin because Japanese is my weakest language, but there is a lot of subtle differences between the translations from Japanese to another language.
Anime is nice because what you're seeing is the creator's interpretation of his work. You get to see what the creator felt was the actual voice, reactions, and movements of the characters that he created, and the actors that were hired to do the voicing sometimes also add their own interpretations to the characters, which is always interesting to watch.

Manga is wayyyy easier to follow than the shows. Anime also adds a bunch of fillers that aren't even in the manga sometimes....
Rock on Naruto Manga series!... the show could be better.

Anime because you can actually see how things happen, rather than frames... Plus, I get bored with reading. Probably a bad thing but I don't really have the time to sit down with a book... And I'd rather not pay for manga...

it really depends for me.
i rather read CLAMP manga that watch their animes
but i'd rather watch Bleach, Detective Conan and other animes.
mostly it depends on what i did first and how long the anime is.
since i read xxxHolic before watching the anime i liked reading the manga because it was way ahead. though i think manga is better. it's more detailed and theres no fillers LOL.

I prefer Both! I usually read the manga than the anime! its so cool and i love seeing what they changed and what they didnt and how they changed the characters....but if i really really really had to choose it would be Manga its compact, readable anywhere....and the original story.....so yea manga ...but its always fun to watch the anime with music and colors....

I think it depends.
Sometimes if it's a manga with a lot of dialogue, then I'd like the manga better. But if there was more action, I'd like the anime better.

i prefer the manga because i can let my imagination work more than when im watching the anime!...and somehow, i get annoyed when the anime cuts out some of the chapters/episodes...and changes the outcomes of events
