Internet pictures are at 72dpi (most often) which means that is you attempt to blow it up bigger than the size that it is on the computer, it will be really pix-elated and look kind of crappy.
copyright issues would only pertain to you if you were to make a poster and then try and sell it, basically anything that would result in you making money.

Questionable at best. There might be copyright issues. You would have to directly ask the owner of the site/picture.
You can save the picture in most cases to your computer. But as indicated above. You might run across copyright issues.
finally. As far as print quality bringing the stuff into stores. That all depends on the quality of the picture you're bringing in.

If it's for personal use, I don't see why you can't give it a try. Although it will probably cost a lot to get it printed out. You're probably better off searching to see if there is something similar, or maybe exactly like, already out there for you. Unless it's very unique. But usually if you look hard enough you can find something, and it will be a lot cheaper.
There is a big demand for sports pictures. And if its an athlete that's popular, the image might be officially licensed and sold in high quality form.

First of all, your gonna need paint, the program. If you do have it, look at your keyboard. Beside the backspace key, there is a print screen button. it says Print Scrn Watch the sldie show . When the picture you want pops up, hit prnt screen as fast as you can while the pictures there. Then, open up paint, And where it says File, tools, etc up above on the top left corner, theres paste. Or just click the blank scrreen and hold Ctrl and V together. Hope i helped! :)

Probably not. Unless the pic from the net is in a super high resolution which is not likely it will be badly distorted when blown up to poster size. The larger and or higher the resolution of a photo, the better it will turn out when enlarged. It might be possible for someone who does professional photography or graphics to do though.

Well unless the pic has a very high resolution, the poster will be grainy and blurry. The pics are copyright whoever posted them, but I don't think its a problem if you wanna just print a poster

first the pic you save off the web is only 72dpi that is bad printing quality, blowing it up will look worse, nobody will print the pic because of copyright, kinkos will say no because of copyright but they wont tell you to go print it yourself..

I won't address copyright issues since the picture your talking about is prob low-res and print about the size of a postage stamp.

Resolution is key, a 320x320 file will look awful as a poster. A good size would be say 8000x11500 and that would probably still look blocky.
