Wasn't it Bush senior that started bragging about it?

Are the Neocons now ashamed of the connotations surrounding the phrase?

Are you talking about Conservatives or Neo-Conservatives? They are not the same thing. I seriously doubt most Conservatives would argue that there isn't a movement afoot to consolidate all of the world under one government.

You're right...I distinctly remember a picture of Bush Sr. With Bill Clinton, and Bob Dole holding hands on a stage promoting this idea.

Actually the basic concept isn't bad but has certain advantages and we will progress to that phase of humanity if there isn't some great calamity/catastrophe man made or natural.

There denial of the “The New World” is done for the same reason the Nazis denied the particulars of the “Final Solution” when a few among their own citizenry questioned them on it. Both propositions will or did result in morally reprehensible actions that will or did benefit those who conceived of these ideas. It behooves the progenitors of control and mass murder to maintain an air of respectability, and to distance themselves from actions that can be construed as morally reprobate, all the while benefiting immensely from these deeds.

New World Order was my favorite trading-card game from the early- to mid-90s. Steve Jackson Games usually produces wonderful products.

I wonder if they still make updated cards for it?

Bush and Blair?
Bush Sr. and Gorbachev?

I don't think they can deny the conspiracy theory in which their idols have blatantly used the term in their speeches (and practices?) Hmmm.

Well, because I was a member of the Republican party for almost 15 years before switching to Libertarian, and they didn't mention it at any of the meetings. Seriously, when the same guy who put out a NWO book last week puts out a UFO book this week, I tend to lump all his theories into the same pot. That would be the 'crack' pot.

They don't believe in conspiracies unless it involves the liberal media or Hillary and Bill's body count.

No one is stopping you from worshiping the idol of secular humanism. Don't try and force me to, though. Whenever governments get together and decide it would be best if they ruled everyone collectively, it results in disaster. There are always fascists who think it's their right to run other people's lives.
