ALASPADA--I totally agree with you, but can't find any explanation for Ron Paul's anti-reparations. Politicians are supposed to expand on their stances on issues. I know this black girl who is a big Ron Paul supporter, but yet she is for reparations. Just trying to understand here!

He was even against giving Reagan (his friend, and he supported Reagan) the congressional medal because he thought it was a misuse of tax-payer's dollars. He insisted that the congressmen should pay out of their pocket instead, if the congress wanted to give Reagan a medal.

I believe Ron Paul is against reparations for slavery for the same reason. Reparations do not affect the slave-owners, who are long dead, but instead the reparations will come out of tax-payers' dollars, most of us who never had anything to do with slavery.

Tell this to your friend: reparations do not hurt the slave owners or the slave abusers. The reparations will come out of the tax payer dollars who had nothing to do with slavery. It is just like spending your tax dollars on wars that you never approved of or supported.

no longer a Republican (now a Conservative) yet i won't help 'Reparations for Slavery' for the trouble-free reason that there are actually not any slaves nonetheless alive to grant reparations! Your evaluation to the Germans and Jews isn't a stable or comparable occasion. actually a competent evaluation is our interior of sight American Indians and the German/ Jewish difficulty. The Jewish difficulty replaced into greater a reimbursement for 'confiscated sources and valuables' by potential of the Nazis and some of the households have been /are quickly affected. As for Obama and his non-help, in case you look at further, you're able to discover something plenty greater chilling than you're keen to believe! look into 'Black Liberation Theology' and evaluate it to the practices of Rev. Wright's Church. next keep in mind that Obama and his kin in many cases attended this church for two decades and in effect recommend those practices! After learning this, come back to YA and pose a question!

The only reparation that black people need for slavery...is ending this 'political slavery' that is still going on.

There are a lot of people that are since most of us had nothing to do with slavery and our families were not even citizens of this country at this time. So why should our tax dollars be used for this type of apology.
